Homeless man, 28, 'confesses to breaking into University of Miami student's apartment and fatally stabbing him more than 60 times'

Robert Wayne Gore, 28, was arrested Wednesday in the October 7 death of Yasser Talal Ibrahim Abualfaraj, according to Miami-Dade police.
An arrest affidavit obtained by ABC10 claims Gore entered Abualfaraj's apartment in Coral Gables through an unlocked door just before 4pm, armed himself with 'multiple sharp weapons' and stabbed the victim repeatedly.
He then left with several items stolen from the apartment.
Abualfaraj's body was discovered hours later by his roommate. An autopsy revealed that he had been stabbed more than 60 times.
Gore reportedly gave a recorded confession detailing how he carried out the murder and burglary.
The 28-year-old has been charged with first-degree murder and armed burglary and is being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Jail records revealed Gore has an extensive criminal history in Miami-Dade County dating back to 2010 - including multiple arrests for marijuana possession and petty theft.

Shortly after the body was discovered, Miami police released a sketch of a man believed to have been seen in the area around the time of the stabbing.
While the man was not identified as a suspect at the time, the sketch appears to have been of Gore.
Abualfaraj's older brother Ammar Abualfaraj told ABC10 at the time: 'We need to know who did that and why.'
