Hip-hop trio Migos sued for allegedly stealing ‘Walk It Talk It’ song.
American hip-hop trio Takeoff, Quavo and Offset of Migos are being sued by another rapper over their hit song “Walk It Talk It,” claiming they stole the song from him. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, rapper M.O.S. whose real name is Leander C. Pickett claims he recorded a song entitled “Walk It Like I Talk It” in 2007 and copyrighted the track in 2018.
Pickett says he released his song on a mixtape entitled “It’s Like a Movie,” with DJ Folk. In January 2018, he says he learned about the Migos' song which was on their third album, “Culture II.” He accused them of never having his permission to use his track and is demanding an injunction against Migos from continuing to profit off his work.
M.O.S. wants the band to turn over all money they made and is seeking unspecified damages.
