Barcelona reportedly tell Ousmane Dembele to find a new club.


The 21-year-old was not in the starting line up as Barcelona beat eternal rivals Real Madrid 5-1 in El Clasico played on Sunday, October 28. The youngster who was part of the French team that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia suffered from an injury in his debut season in Catalonia after a hefty transfer fee was required to bring him to Borussia Dortmund. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Barcelona are fed up with the attitude issues of Dembele and are ready to get rid of him now that he is healthy. 


The report states that Premier League giants Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool are all interested in bringing the youngster to England. Catalan Radio RAC1 revealed that the Barcelona hierarchy were not impressed with Dembele arriving late for the crucial UEFA Champions League group stage game against Inter Milan. Dembele was dropped from the starting line up for the clash and was not called up from the bench for the entirety of the game. 




The report states that the coaching crew in Barcelona were not happy with his attitude knowing that star player Lionel Messi was injured in the game against Sevilla and will be out of action for a while. Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde played down that he was replaced by Rafinha Alcantara as a tactical decision. 

He was however called from the bench against Real Madrid and provided an assist for Arturo Vidal to wrap up the goals.
