Son of Gov. Masari’s aide kidnapped, returned with a note

NIGERIA:KATSINA – Suspected kidnappers at the weekend abducted the son of Alhaji Sabo Musa, Special Adviser to Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari on Restoration project.


The Special Adviser who confirmed the incident identified the name of the little boy as Jafar Sabo Musa. Narrating the incident, Musa said Jafar was kidnapped and returned by the abductors late Saturday night with an handwritten letter in his pocket. 
According to Musa, “His name is Jafar Sabo Musa. He was kidnapped and returned this night with this letter. “Include me in your prayers. At the moment we are in the hospital because it seems like he was intoxicated,” the Special Adviser said. The abductors in the purported letter addressed to the wife, “Hajiya” said they had wanted to kidnap the boy and demand for N10million ransom for his release but changed their mind for the fear of God Almighty. They also said they (parents) will notice the boy is high, that they drugged the boy to make him unconscious. They also said they kidnapped the boy because of high rate of unemployment and told the wife to tell her husband to get the youths employed. They equally adviced the mother of the boy to take care of the boy because he is a good boy. The Special Adviser also posted a copy of the hand written letter but in Hausa. When contacted, the Spokesperson of the Katsina State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah confirmed the incident. SP Isah said the police is on top of the situation as it is investigating the matter which will lead to the arrest of the culprits.
