23 unidentified bodies found in Zamfara forest.
The bodies of 23 unidentified people have been allegedly found inside a timberland in Zurmi nearby government territory of Zamfara state.
The state police summon's representative, Muhammad Shehu, said the bodies were found on Friday June 29th.
"Our group of agents was there and it recouped the bodies. Cautious examination has started vigorously and the culprits will before long be angled out," Shehu was cited to have said. A portion of the bodies had shots wounds while some others had opening throats. The remaining parts have apparently been covered.
Zamfara, among other northern states, has experienced arrangement of assaults outfitted brigands and suspected herders, prompting loss of lives and devastation of properties.
