The WWE is in mourning as Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff dies, aged 70, and Brian Christopher, the son of wrestling legend Jerry Lawler, clings to life after trying to hang himself in a jail cell


The WWE and its fans are in mourning after the industry lost two wrestlers, including a Hall of Famer, over the weekend while Jerry 'The King' Lawler's son remains on life
support following a suicide attempt.  
Brian Christopher Lawler has been reportedly placed on life support after trying to hang himself in his jail cell.
The former wrestler, who went by Grandmaster Sexay in the WWE, was found unresponsive in his cell Saturday night. e had reportedly tried to hang himself just weeks after being arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, according to TMZ.  
Brian was immediately rushed to the Regional One hospital where he was subsequently placed on life support.  
He is said to be in critical condition.  
Brian had been jailed at the Hardeman County Jail following his DUI arrest on July 7. 
That night police pursued Brian's vehicle after they reportedly spotted him speeding and swerving around 1am. ccording to TMZ, Brian led authorities on a chase before he was taken into custody. 
Brian was also arrested in June for allegedly running from a Hampton Inn bill.
During his wrestling career, Brian became popular as one-half of the tag team Too Cool with Scotty 2 Hotty.
