Suspect confesses to giving his mother N50,000 from proceeds of his first robbery operation.

An individual from a four-man theft group, Offor Joseph, captured as of late by men of the Lagos state police summon, has told the police that he gave his mom N50,000 from his offer of the N900,000 he produced using his first activity as an outfitted looter.

Offor, who was captured close by Chinedu Ogu, an individual from his posse in the wake of victimizing a lebanese man, said they have sources that go to banks to screen people who go to pull back substantial aggregate. The source at that point calls at that point to advise them of such clients. "This is my third theft task. In the primary task, we made N900,000 and I got N200,000 as my offer.

I utilized the principal cash I made to deal with some squeezing family issues and gave my mom N50,000; sister N15,000. We got data that a Lebanese man had gone to one of the new age banks in Satellite town to pull back an enormous entirety of cash. We have a witness, who puts on a show to complete exchange in the bank, however whose activity is to screen people that pull back vast entireties. I think it is insider's association.

The pack pioneer has clerks and others, who give him data. I don't have the foggiest idea about the course of action amongst him and the source. All I know is that the data is constantly right. Our burglary posse is comprised of four men. I purchased the gun weapon from a companion in Bayelsa State. He generally goes to the activist camp in the rivers where he brings firearms which he offers. He sold it to me for N35,000.

The second task was unsuccessful, as the white man we needed to ransack went poorly straight. He was driving round Lagos and we were tailing him, yet couldn't bind him. He would enter one club after another until the point that the fuel of our Okada got completed and we couldn't find him once more. That day, we settled that we ought not burglarize just white individuals. However, our witness in the bank will dependably dishearten us, saying Nigerians don't pull back huge totals."

Describing how they were gotten by the police, Offor said ''On Monday June 25th, our source disclosed to us a Lebanese man made enormous withdrawal and gave us the depiction. We trailed the casualty to his home in Satellite Town. As he was opening his entryway, we assaulted him with the weapon and he gave the cash over to us. Lamentably, inconvenience began on our way home when Sergeant Momoh Olachene and a group of policemen on watch pursued us till we were captured. We don't know how the Police knew we were originating from a theft task.

We would have shot the Lebanese man on the off chance that he had opposed, in light of the fact that we were edgy to get cash. I required cash to purchase Keke Marwa (tricycle), while my accomplice, Chinedu, needed to put resources into business cruiser Okada." The second suspect, Chinedu Ogu "I haven't made anything from the tasks. The first occasion when they gave me just N40,000.

They for the most part take the lion offer and give me peanuts. I am hitched with three children. My better half doesn't realize that I am into theft." A gun, four live ammo, pack containing N350,000, ATM cards and checks were recuperated from them. The police say Offor and Chindeu would be charged to court soon.
