'I've been acclaimed for a long time. I just need to have a feeling since I am a dissident.

'I am against the Venezuelan and Colombian government. I am against Donald Trump on account of his scorn of Latinos. I simply need my feeling heard.'

Velasquez was given his 30-year sentence in a greatest security imprison in Bogota for plotting the murder of a previous presidential hopeful.

The killing of the cartel-battling government official Luis Carlos Galan amid the 1990 presidential crusade he was intensely supported to win denoted the summit of medication viciousness that overwhelmed Colombia two decades back.

In an offer to battle removal to the Unified States, Escobar requested scores of deaths - of judges, bureau priests and writers.

The cartel pursued a bombarding effort crosswise over Bogota, Medellin and Cali, with huge numbers of the hazardous gadgets planted by Velasquez.

Escobar even brought down an Avianca business jetliner in 1989, murdering every one of the 107 on board, since he trusted Galan's political beneficiary, at that point President Cesar Gaviria, was on board.
