Man gets his throat slit on livestream while walking the street in broad daylight.

A man had his throat slit on livestream while walking on a public street in broad daylight in downtown Providence, Rhode Island, USA.



The stabbing happened on Monday morning on the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Cromwell Street. According to an eyewitness, the victim was standing on the corner when someone came up and slit his throat. Luckily, passersby came to his rescue and one good Samaritan helped put pressure on the cut to reduce the bleeding while calling emergency services. Police and paramedics arrived moments later and took the victim to the Rhode Island Hospital where he is in critical condition.

Police went to the location at 8:10 a.m. on Monday, said Providence police Maj. David Lapatin.
