Disney's live adaptation of its most beloved classic animation The Lion King isn't even out yet and it's already breaking records.
With anticipation already building for the remake of the childhood classic, the teaser trailer, the first for the film, accumulated a record 224.6 million views globally within its first 24 hours, becoming the most watched trailer for Disney in a day.
It also happens to be the second most-watched movie trailer within a 24-hour span after Avengers: Infinity Wars earned 238 million views in its first day.
If the trailer can rake in such huge numbers, then it's safe to speculate that the movie itself would be a huge commercial success.
By the way, this was just a teaser trailer. A full trailer that will run for more than 2 minutes will still be released so watch out for that.
