Prince's siblings put aside their fight over his $300m inheritance to pay tribute to him at the AMAs.

Prince's siblings are putting their battle over his huge estate aside for a night.

They are coming together on Sunday night to pay homage to their late, great brother at the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

Sources connected with Prince's estate told the website that the singer's sister, 56-year-old Tyka Nelson, has organized a trip to LA for them all.

Prince's Purple Rain snagged a posthumous nomination for Top Soundtrack and is tipped to win given the outpouring of grief over his death.

The other nominees in the category are Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Suicide Squad: The Album.

As for why Purple Rain, released in 1984, is nominated this year, the noms are based in part on sales and after the singer's death the album hit No.2 on the Billboard 200.

The 2015 AMAs were Prince's last TV appearance where he presented The Weeknd with the award for best R&B Soul Album for Beauty Behind The Madness.

Prince Rogers Nelson was just 57 when he died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl at his Paisley Park home in Chanhassen, Minnesota, on April 21.

The pop superstar, who did not leave a will, is thought to have been worth $300 million at the time of his death.

Guest presenter: Last year the 57-year-old presented The Weeknd  with the award for best R&B Soul Album for Beauty Behind The Madness.

Aside from his massive Paisely Park Mansion and personal wealth, he also left a hoard of unreleased music potentially worth a fortune.

The court hasn’t ruled on whether sister Tyka, his half-siblings or other potential relatives should be designated as his heirs.

There are also handful of people who have made unverified claims that Prince might be their father and they may have valid claims to his estate.
