Here are some serious toys for boys who love to speed down the highway at the speed of light. These cars seem to have been specifically made for engaging in legendary car chases – truly, they are the stuff that car movies are made of. In fact, it might seriously be worth a career change so as to realize the dream of driving one of these speed sleek machines, on a daily basis.

The New South Wales Police has taken delivery of a brand-new Porsche 911 to assist them with their crime-fighting endeavours. While the legendary car goes from zero to 100 kmh in 4.8 seconds the main aim behind including this car in the NSW’s list of Police vehicles was not to chase after criminals along the highways down under. Rather, the Police thought that it would help build community relations with disadvantaged youths. In fact, the custom Police decals on the car were designed by students hailing from the area. The car is more of a publicity stunt and is expected to attend a large number of local events, where police officers will be able to interact with the public.

The United Arab Emirates has added this supercar to its stunning fleet of luxury police cars. The Italian-made Ferrari FF, has a V12 engine, which enables it to go from zero to 100kph in no more than 3.7 seconds. To make the backstory to this Ferrari police car, even more interesting, the Emirati Police have specified that they will only be driven by female police officers to patrol the busy tourist areas of the capital Dubai.

4. Lamborghini Aventador (UAE)- 217 mph / 349 kmh $450,000 USD.

In 2013, the Emirati state of Dubai’s added the Lamborghini Aventador to its fleet of law enforcement vehicles, to the envy of all sports car enthusiasts around the globe. Some have indeed commented that this is a deliberate gesture to confirm the emirate’s opulence and economic strength. On the other hand, the Emirates is known to be home to a number of high-wealth individuals, who typically have fast and expensive cars. So the law in Dubai may need to keep up with some pretty fast and flashy motor enthusiasts. The Aventador boasts a V12 engine, a maximum speed of 217mph and an acceleration which goes from zero to 60mph in a mere 2.9 seconds The car is however, used mostly as a PR and marketing prop, rather than a standard patrol car.

One of the latest supercars to join the Dubai’s fleet of law enforcement vehicles is the Bugatti Veyron. This news really made the headlines in the Emirates, as well as all over the world, since the Veyron can reach up to 430 kph making it the fastest street-legal car in the world and certainly the fastest in the Dubai Police’s fleet. While the car retains a smooth, modern and elegant appearance, it houses a monstrous quad turbo, 16-cylinder engine, which enables it to produce over 1,000 horsepower and at $1.6 million apiece it has a price tag to match its power. The car, which is one of the most recognizable in the world, can accelerate to 100kph in a flash of 2.7 seconds.

2. Aston Martin One-77 (UAE) – 221 mph / 356 kmh $1.8 million USD.

The One-77 is aptly names for only having a limited run of 77 cars, each going for a cool $1.8 million. The super car boasts a carbon fiber-body with a top speed of 220 mph. The elegant sleek and powerful car is being used mainly as a deterrent for anyone foolish enough to even think of breaking the speed-limit. The Emirati Police’s One-77 will also be used as a PR prop, to promote tourism to Dubai.

1.And our favourite, LykanHyperSport (UAE)- 248 mph / 400km $3.4 Million.

By now you’ve gathered that the fleet of law enforcement vehicles in the Emirates is nothing short of jaw-dropping, record-breaking and show-stopping. Luxurious, exotic and impressive – the Emirates have spared no expense in flaunting their wealth. More so, anyone thinking of pulling a fast one on the Police there, is simply delusional. The wealthiest Police garage of the Middle East must be that of Abu Dhabi which already owned a Ferrari FF, a BMW M6 GranCoupe, a Bugatti Veyron, an Aston Martin One-77, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8, as well as a Lamborghini Gallardo. However, they now also have one of the exclusive seven 770-horsepower LykanHyperSport cars. The ticket on this one rings to the tune of a whopping $3.4 million. The Lykan can go from zero to 100 km in 2.8 seconds. Impressive in looks and performance, this super car was featured as one of the leading cars in Fast and Furious 7.
