Disney and Microsoft join list of potential buyers for Twitter - but Facebook is NOT interested.



Twitter shares were up 2.23 percent at $23.36 in after-market trading
Microblogging site has reportedly started talks with companies to sell
Disney is working with a financial adviser to evaluate a possible bid
And Salesforce is working with Bank of America on a potential bid
But sources say Facebook Inc isn't likely to have an interest in Twitter.

Walt Disney Co and Microsoft Corp have joined a list of potential suitors for Twitter Inc, according to reports on Monday - but Facebook is reportedly not interested.

Twitter shares were up 2.23 percent at $23.36 in after-market trading.

The microblogging service has reportedly started talks with a number of technology companies to sell itself, including Google parent Alphabet Inc and may receive a formal bid soon.

A source told Reuters that Salesforce.com Inc is also in pursuit.
