Arsenal rounded off their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 win over Lazio on Saturday night, at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
The Gunners, who handed debuts to summer signings Lucas Torreira and Stephan Lichtsteiner, took the lead through Reiss Nelson in the 18th minute. Substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s deflected effort in the second half secured victory.
The victory ensures Unai Emery’s side finish pre-season without a defeat in normal time, as they now switch their attentions to their Premier League opener.
Arsenal take on champions Manchester City next Sunday.
