50 children raped in the state within the last four months - Plateau State Government.

About 50 children have been raped in the state in the past four months alone, according to a shocking data disclosed by Plateau State Government:

"Our records show 50 recent cases of rape in the state. This is just within the last four months or so," Mrs. Rufina Gurumyen, state commissioner for Women Affairs told newsmen in Jos, ahead of the launch of the state initiative to End Violence Against the Children (EndVAC), later this week. The initiative is a national child protection campaign funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

"The last two cases are just days away; one in Jos involving a suspect who raped a child of two years, and another in Langtan. In Langtan, the suspect raped a disabled child. The first one was found to have raped a child sometimes ago, but the family decided to conceal it. So this particular one, a neighbour reported to the ministry for us to track him and the family to start the case." - Daily Trust quoted her as saying...

Rob Kardashian TWEETS Kylie Jenner's number as he blasts family for not inviting Blac Chyna to bash.

The reality star insisted he hadn't been hacked as he slammed his nearest and dearest for not including the mother of his baby in their plans.

If you thought the Kardashian-Jenners and Blac Chyna had buried the hatchet, think again.

A furious Rob Kardashian appeared to post sister Kylie Jenner's mobile number on Twitter on Monday night.

At first, fans thought the reality star had been hacked, but he then revealed his family hadn't invited fiancee Blac Chyna to the baby shower they had planned for him.

"Kylie's #," he wrote alongside a 10-digit number, before adding, "I ain't hacked either this is rob dog lol."

Rob tweets Kylie's number.

The 29-year-old then posted the number again before fuming: "Didn't invite the Mother of my child to a baby shower you all were trying to throw for me? You all must have lost your damn minds."

The Lip Kit mogul hasn't taken to Twitter to respond, and the number Rob tweeted is now said to be unavailable.

After discovering Rob was expecting a child with Kylie's nemesis earlier this year, the famous family made no secret of the fact they weren't on board with him dating Tyga's ex.

Khloe kicked her brother out of her house after she walked in on him and Blac - and refused to speak to him for months after.

While Kim also publicly slammed the sock entrepreneur and her former friend's romance and warned him to stop the make-up artist from bashing the family after she kept making sly digs at Kylie and momager Kris over social media.

Rob also admitted he was reluctant to discuss his new-found happiness with the rest of his family when he fell for Blac because of the awkward circumstances.

He said recently: "I couldn't really feel comfortable about talking to any of my family members obviously about the situation. It was very, very complicated. But my happiness outweighed everything honestly at that point in my life."

But in the most recent episode of Rob and Chyna it looked like they had finally warmed to Rob's fiancee as the pair joined them at Khloe Kardashian's birthday party.

'Don't you think I'm gonna find out where you live at? Man accused of killing two teenagers threatens to track down judge's family during profanity-laced tirade in court.

Brice Rhodes threatened Judge Amber Wolf in Kentucky court on Friday
Rhodes, who has been charged with killing two teens, was in court on separate charges of attacking and injuring an inmate in August
As Wolf was reading off new charges against him he interrupted her
He asked Wolf: 'Don't you think I'm gonna find out where you live at?'
After he was removed from court room she said: 'That was a threat against the court' and asked the attorney's office to handle.

A man charged with killing two teens is facing additional charges after he allegedly threatened a judge and her family.

Brice Rhodes, who is charged with the murders of 14-year-old Larry Ordway and his brother, 16-year-old Maurice Gordon, repeatedly said he was going to target Amber Wolf  in a Louisville, Kentucky, court on Friday.

He was in court on separate charges of attacking and injuring an inmate in August and spitting on another in September, according to WDRB.

The courtroom video shows Judge Amber Wolf (pictured) attempting to read out Brice Rhodes' charges before he interrupted her and at one point said: 'I'm going to get out'.

While Wold continued to read the charges, Rhodes said that he didn't care what he had been charged with. He asked: 'Don't you think I'm gonna find out where you live at?'.

In the video, deputies can be seen wheeling Rhodes into the court room as Judge Wolf directed them to 'just bring him up right here'.

Rhodes, who was wearing a spit mask, asked: 'Why you all havin' me come in like this for?'

Brice Rhodes was previously charged with the murders of 14-year-old Larry Ordway and his brother, 16-year-old Maurice Gordon.

Wolf replied: 'I think you know why. You know exactly why.'

As Wolf was about to read out Rhodes' charges he interrupted her and said: 'I'm going to get out.'

After several expletives, Wolf asked: 'Are you done?'

She continued to read the charges aloud: 'You've been charged with assault in the fourth degree...' but she was interrupted by Rhodes again.

'I don't care what I've been charged with,' he said. 'Don't you think I'm gonna find out where you live at?

Wold asked: 'So you're saying you're going to find out where I live at?'

'I don't give a [expletive] about none of that!' Rhodes said. 'You got family! I'll be out!'.

Wolf told Rhodes that his bond was set at '$15,000 full-cash' and asked him if he needed the appointment of a public defender'.

'It's horrible in there,' Barnes told WREG of the state of her South Memphis house following the incident.

'It's absolutely horrible in there. It's like they just had a big ol' nasty party.'

Initially when she walked inside her home, Barnes said she picked up a broom and wanted to 'hit that man so bad.'

The man then started yelling 'I don't know nothing' repeatedly while the woman reached for one of her dresses,' Barnes told WREG.

'She tried to grab one of my dresses and put it on and I snatched it from her, "What are you trying to do?"' Barnes said as she recalled the chaotic moment.

She eventually chased after the man but stopped after he went into an alley.

EXCLUSIVE - 'I gave birth using my sister's womb... and I still can't believe my boy is real': Miracle of the Swedish baby who was created in his AUNT'S uterus after his infertile mother received a transplant.

Lolita Wästerlund was told aged 14 she had been born without a uterus and would never carry a baby.
She suffered from Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome - which affects one in 4,500 women.
The nurse, now 36, spent her late teens and early 20s in and out of depression she was so devastated.
Lolita's elder sister Linda promised she could one day have her uterus - even though then it was impossible.
Then they heard of pioneering medical trials in Sweden looking for volunteers to undergo womb transplant.
The 'womb sisters' volunteered and mother-of-four Linda donated her womb to younger sister Lolita.
After IVF with her own eggs and partner's sperm overjoyed Lolita gave birth to Cash-Douglas in June 2015.

Now she is sharing pictures of the beautiful boy and telling her story to give other women hope.
He totters unsteadily like any other one-year-old, beaming and laughing towards the camera. Yet this beautiful 14-month-old boy, is in fact a walking, not-quite-talking medical miracle.

For little Cash-Douglas, who has big brown eyes and a determined gait, is one of the first children in the world to be born after a successful womb transplant.

His mother, 36-year-old Lolita Wästerlund, from Sweden, was born without a uterus after suffering from a rare medical condition. Yet in a pioneering operation, she was implanted with a womb donated by her sister, who had already given birth four times. Lolita then underwent IVF with her own eggs and her partner's sperm, and astonishingly carried her baby to term just over a year ago.

In an interview with MailOnline, Lolita and her sister, Linda, told of their incredible joy at the 'miracle' of Cash-Douglas's birth and described their hope that the experimental surgery will transform the fortunes of other women suffering from the condition.

'My life has taken a new turn, I am so happy. Just looking at him makes me smile,' Lolita told MailOnline. 'I still have a feeling that this is unreal... It should not have been able to happen, but it did.'

Beautiful miracle: Cash-Douglas, now 14 months old, was born after his mother underwent pioneering surgery to be implanted with her sister's uterus. He is the world's first baby to be born successfully after a womb transplant.

Man Spent 43 Years Sitting On A Wheelchair Due To Incorrect Diagnosis.

A PORTUGUESE MAN spent 43 years in a wheelchair because of a mistaken medical diagnosis, finally re-learning to walk only in his fifties.

When Rufino Borrego was 13, he was diagnosed by a Lisbon hospital as having incurable muscular dystrophy, the Jornal de Noticias reported.

After that he used a wheelchair for more than four decades – until a neurologist realised in 2010 that he in fact suffered from a different disease that weakens the muscles, myasthenia.

The rare disease can be treated simply by taking asthma medication – and just a year after his new diagnosis, Borrego was able to walk for the first time to his usual neighbourhood cafe.

“We thought it was a miracle,” Manuel Melao, owner of the cafe in Alandroal, southeast Portugal, told  newspaper.

Now aged 61, Borrego is able to live a normal life, requiring only two physiotherapy sessions a year.

He insists he harbours no ill-feelings against the hospital that made the original diagnosis, acknowledging that myasthenia was almost unknown in the medical profession in the 1960s.

“I just want to make use of my life,” he said.

Hundreds of homes under threat as a devastating wildfire sweeps through the mountains of California.

Wildfires have been spreading across Northern California since Sunday
Fire crews contained a blaze in the nearby Sonoma County on Monday
Now firemen are focusing battling the flames in the Santa Cruz mountains
A house has been destroyed and hundreds of homes have been evacuated.

Fire crews in Northern California have been battling a large blaze in the Santa Cruz mountains over the weekend that has charred woodland and forced hundreds of homes to be evacuated.

The fast-moving wildfire in the mountains had destroyed 500 acres by Monday night and forced around 300 families out of their homes.

The blaze started Monday afternoon on the southern edge of Santa Clara County. It was also threatening television and radio towers.

The fires drew strength from an autumn heat wave but fire officials said they were hopeful cooler temperatures and higher humidity expected overnight would help stymie their progress.

A fireman attempts to control the fire that has forced hundreds of homes to be evacuated and has destroyed 500 acres of land in the Santa Cruz mountains in California.

Flames jump a road as they climb toward Loma Prieta peak in the mountains late on Monday.

'High temperatures and low humidity is a recipe for these fires to spread rapidly but we're looking for favorable weather throughout the night to help slow them down,' McLean said.

Firefighters working against the blaze in Sonoma County were sent to Santa Clara County after making progress against a two square-mile blaze burning near The Geysers, said McLean.

Evacuation and road closure orders were lifted in Sonoma on Monday evening after fire crews increased containment to 45 percent, McLean added.

'It's looking very good but we still need to make sure smoke and small fires inside the perimeter are taken care of,' he said.
