Beyonce, 35, and Jay Z, 47, 'tried for YEARS' to expand their family and now that she is pregnant with twins they are 'very happy'.

Beyonce announced last week she was expecting twins with husband Jay Z.
And on Tuesday People reported the 35-year-old superstar, who already has five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with the 47-year-old rapper, struggled to conceive.
'They wanted another child and after a few years of trying, it’s a great feeling,' a source told the site.

And now the Texas native is in a good place. 'She's very happy,' added the insider.
It is not known if the Crazy In Love hit maker used IVF.
Nearly four percent of babies in the United States are now born in sets of two, three or more, with the majority - about 95 percent - of these multiple births being twins, according to whattoexpect.com.
Fertility treatments multiplies the chances of a multiple pregnancy, it was added.
Five years ago the Grammy winner told ABC News she wanted more children. 'I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister,' she said.
And in 2013 she told Good Morning America: 'I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company.'
She added: 'I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life. In the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now.
'I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.'
As far as Bey's relationship with Jay, People claims they are sticking it out after she raised questions about infidelity with her album Lemonade.
'They are a power couple and they make a great team,' said the source. 'They know they are more interesting together than apart.'
And it looks like the couple is more than eager to bring two more kids into their home (TMZ claims the two will settle in LA because 'they like the quiet and the privacy')
Beyonce certainly made the most of her Wednesday pregnancy announcement, which included several photos of her baby bump.
'We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,' the diva captioned a photo of herself.
'We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.'
